Rights related to medical care

  1. Obtaining integrated medical care without distinction or discrimination by a distinguished medical team, respecting beliefs and values, taking into account the factors of time, quality, and compliance with the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Health.
  2. Initial treatment for emergencies. (Priority to emergency).
  3. Appropriate intervention to assess the condition and treat pain.
  4. The medical team is involved in the treatment plan and the decision is made regarding your health condition.
  5. We provide you with instructions regarding your health condition when you leave the hospital.
  6. Rejection or suspension of treatment following the law in Saudi Arabia, you are informed of the possible consequences of the denial of treatment, and when you make this decision, you must sign a form explaining this.
  7. Sign a pre-approval form before starting surgery, endoscopy, anesthesia, blood transfusion or its components; or any other procedure that requires prior approval.
  8. Receiving comprehensive and clear information about your health in a clear and understandable language.
  9. Receiving adequate and appropriate medical meals in proportion to the health condition.
  10. You have the right to decide who can obtain information about your treatment plan and what are the conditions and controls.

Information Rights

  1. Obtaining a copy of the patient’s rights and duties document while receiving treatment by the hypnosis’ office or nursing. In case of not understanding this information, you could contact the Patient’s Relations Manager for assistance. (Ext. 222)
  2. Knowing the mission and the vision of the hospital
  3. Knowing the medical team and their qualifications
  4. Obtaining a copy of the patient’s Rights and duties document upon admission to the hospital.
  5. Obtaining sufficient information about your health condition and treatment methods from your doctor in clearly and understandably (once the final diagnosis has been reached with the presence of an interpreter if needed)
  6. Withholding any information that may harm your health condition. It must be reported to those who are officially on your behalf.
  7. Obtaining information on the approximate costs of the patient’s treatment, regardless of who will pay the costs.
  8. Knowing the coverage of the insurance company and the credit limit.
  9. Submit a suggestion or a complaint related to the service provided to you to the Patient Relations Officer tel. 0137661111 ext. 222 or via the Suggestions box and you will be notified of the outcome by the Patient Relations Manager or the Officer-in-charge as soon as possible.
  10. The right to know other alternatives to medical care for your case, In or out of the hospital.
  11. In case of donation, you have to contact the Saudi Center for organ donation on toll-free 800 124550, the service is not available but you can obtain sufficient information from the Patient Relations Manager.
  12. The publication, distribution and presentation of the patients' rights and duties document in the hospital, and be available to all patients.

Privacy and confidentiality rights

  1. The privacy during all therapeutic and diagnostic procedures unless a medical emergency arises requiring further information.
  2. Discuss the treatment and health condition options confidentially with your legal guardian.
  3. Refuse to see anyone who is not subscribed to the Medicare plan even visitors.
  4. Replace room with another one if there is any inconvenience. We provide an appropriate room to the patient’s health condition
  5. Maintain the confidentiality of all information about your health condition, provided that this does not conflict with applicable laws.
  6. Keep your medical file confidential, and protect it from loss or misuse, and the medical file should only be viewed by the treated staff. Or persons legally authorized to view it.
  7. Get the right clothes and special tools for your health condition.
  8. Get separate waiting rooms for men and women.
  9. A private examination room is required if the current room is not suitable for examination.

  1. Providing a safe and appropriate treatment environment throughout the treatment period.
  2. Providing a secure protection mechanism on your property to protect it from loss or theft.
  3. Providing an appropriate mechanism to protect children, the elderly and people with special needs from any harm they may be injured.
  4. Knowing Non-smoking policy, smoking spaces and medical care.
  5. Protecting you from verbal, physical or psychological abuse.
