Patient Rights and Responsibilities

Patients and their families have the right to health care:
- Obtaining appropriate, continuous, organized and specialized health services “according to evidence-based medicine” at every level of care, whether preventive or therapeutic, and at the appropriate time, in accordance with the policies and procedures of eligibility for treatment and within the facility’s capacity and the laws regulating its work

Refusing treatment

- Refusing treatment shall not result in any decisions or procedures that are not related to the patient's health condition, and the service provider in the health facility is obligated to continue providing appropriate care to him, even during the times of review for the same disease or another, according to the applicable medical standards.

Patients and their families' duties document:
